Overview

Celebrating a 50-year anniversary in 2015, Traffic Jam & Snug’s broad and eclectic menu is supported by an in-house bakery producing decadent desserts, breads and buns, Michigan’s first brew pub, and Michigan’s smallest licensed dairy crafting award winning cheeses and ice creams, all accented with herbs and vegetables grown on the rooftop garden and in the rooftop green house.

(Creamy, zesty dip accompanied by crackers)

Seafood Dinner Chowder
(Prepared with scallop, monkfish and crab seafood chowder, and spiked with herbs just snipped from our greenhouse)

(Roasted beef with horseradish mayonnaise and au jus, served over our rooftop garden’s aged garlic mashed potatoes)

Vegetarian Wild Mushroom Ravioli
(Mixed wild mushrooms in tender pasta, served with porcini, shiitake and portobello Marsala sauce)

Pistachio-encrusted Lamb
(A trio of majoram (from our garden)-scented, pistachio-encrusted lamb chops, served with apricot and herb couscous)


THIRD COURSE:

Carlotta Chocolatta Ice Cream Cheesecake
(Double chocolate cheesecake, wrapped in coffee ice cream, coated with bittersweet hot fudge and sprinkled with ground espresso)

(“Pick me up” in Italian. Espresso-laced ladyfingers, layered with mascarpone, grated chocolate, raspberry and espresso. Dusted in cocoa.)
